Could Sir Al Finally Get 'His Man'?

Could Sir Alex Ferguson finally get 'his man?'

After trying for former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira before, the links have re-surfaced recently following his team Juventus being relegated from Serie A for their role in the Italian match fixing sensation.

The 30-year-old midfielder has said:

'Every player wants to play for a club like Manchester United. After nine years at Arsenal it might be difficult but anything can happen.'

Viera, who left Arsenal in 2005, continued: 'Now I'm not sure where I'm playing next season (it was thought he was going to Inter Milan), I'm still looking for a new club. There might be some sort of conclusion in the next 48 hours and it's a very important decision for me. I will not be playing for Juventus since they are going to Serie B.'

30-years-old, so still got plenty of life left in him yet as a Premiership footballer? Our latest poll asks if you would welcome Vieira to Old Trafford.
