Another Ferguson Spat?

The apparent truce called with the BBC that has seen Sir Alex Ferguson end a long vendetta against the company may have been welcomed with a breath of fresh air but last night Sir Alex got a bit uppity with ITV.

Being interviewed by Kelly Cates, the daughter of a certain Kenny Dalglish, felt the wrath of Sir Alex when she dabbled a little too far with regards to Sir Alex`s decision to play Anders Lindegaard instead of David de Gea.

Sir Alex, obviously rattled by question, spat back,

"I don`t know why you ask these stupid questions, you`re just looking for stupid little things."

"David will play on Sunday. That was the understanding we had before the game and it doesn`t change. Anyway it proves we have two terrific keepers."

I wonder if Kenny will do the honourable thing and ring Sir Alex to defend his daughter?

Must**** Fergie off though with the media going into overdrive because of a couple of mistakes and jumping to hysterical conclusions over nothing. He shouldn't of snapped but I understand why he did. People need to give De Gea a break and actually start looking at his overall performance rather than his mistakes. If they actually watched him they'd know how great his distribution is (80 % pass success rate v Bolton) and that he's saved more shots than any other keeper in the Premier League. Oh and he actually hasn't conceded a goal from outside the box yet in the Premier League and he has 2 cleansheets to his name and is joint 2nd (with the likes of Howard, Cech and Hart) for the least goals conceded.

Duhhhh just like Sir old red nose to over react to a perfectly innocent question. Couldn't he have answered civilly?

Fergie just displaying his crass again, nothing new here. All managers get asked ridiculous questions, it's just something you have to deal with, you'd think he'd have learned that at this stage. A young gk trying to fill the shoes of one of the best keepers in the world at one of the bigest brands in world football is going to be scutinised, get over it.
