'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coyle`s Verdict

It is never nice to be battered at home but after the match Owen Coyle, the vanquished manager, had a few words to say about the match.

Coyle, speaking to the media, remarked about the hammering,

"United were ruthless and clinical with their finishing."

"They took their chances well but I felt the margin was harsh on us given the balance of the game. We had double the shots they did and De Gea made a couple of great saves."

"United were clinical but if you allow easy crosses into your box for world class operators like Rooney and Hernandez you will be punished and that`s what happened today."

"We paid a heavy price for every mistake we made in the game and United are in a ruthless mood at the moment."

"United and City have so many world-class players in the teams so it`s going to be a fantastic title race."

If I were to be honest, I`d have to agree with Owen, Bolton will play far worse and not get such a battering, but that`s football is it not!

The win looked comfortable and easy despite Boltons numerous attempts and it showed with Nani repeatedly destroying Robinson and whipping in crosses and even Jones walked his way through on a couple of occassions.

Clinical absolutely clinical.. so many of our players are on fire. Nani he does what ever he wants, Rooney cant stop scoring, Jones is immense, Chica he will just keep on putting them away.. What a team, sad that Cleverly will be out for a month, however with the strength in depth, it is not a situation we cant cope with.
