No Concerns over Rooney Knock!

One of the fears when players go away on international duty is that they return to their clubs with an injury.

It`s a hazard of being at the pinnacle of your career.

Last night (Friday) in Sofia, Wayne Rooney picked up a slight injury to his toe, explaining afterwards,

"I landed on it in the second half. The physio has looked at it and said it`s fine."

Now that is a relief to hear!

Thank God. I suppose being cautious about the knock and subbing him off or on against Wales is too much to ask from Capello.

Playing for England has it bad points when the guys pick up these injuries - yes it could happen in training - look at Rio in the WC - but its a factor of a footballers life!
