One Last big Deal?

Between now and when the summer transfer window finally slams shut; we expect some wild rumours to do the rounds.

It promises to be an interesting period, as always.

Now whether United feature prominently in those rumours remains to be seen, some would say that United have bought well and that there`s no need to recruit anybody else.

Sir Alex Ferguson though, may beg to differ.

It wouldn`t surprise me in the least if the canny Scot had one more ace to play in this farcical time of the year.

Even more so when one news agency is suggesting that his assistant, Rene Mulensteen, has inferred that Wesley Sneijder could still be signed before that reference transfer window slams shut at 23:00 hours Wednesday evening.

Stand by your beds, anything could happen!

Anything can happen yes but us signing Sneijder now is near impossible. If one final signing were to be made i'd sooner it be a younger potential superstar AM or a solid potential superstar DM to act as cover or challenge Fletcher and Carrick to the DM spot or Anderson or Cleverley to the AM spot. Well I say AM and DM I mean CM's who who specialises either defensively or offensively so that way they can fit into the 4-4-1-1.

4-4-1-1? Wow, with 7 strikers on the books, how you going to keep them all happy if you only play one at a time? Taggart must be mad to have that many strikers on the books ;P

Its hillarious how the bitters are so excited about signing hargreaves, and think United fans are all over the place.. Cant blame the guy for wanting a slice of the salarypie they serve up at Wasteland, however I do think he would be better of a Westbrom or Wigan where he actually had a chance of getting minutes on the pitch. I highly doubt SAF will sign anyone, let alone Sneijder, I think we have shown what the youngsters are all about.

Nice to see Norwegians have a sense of irony to rival that of yanks Nerdkrap, or are you forgetting Ferguson having a go at City for having too many strikers on the books? Keep them coming mate, you've replaced "joke of the day" on my preferred reading list.
