Is Carrick A Good Signing?

Is Carrick A Good Signing?

We asked, with the signing of Michael Carrick looking like a formality, if he would be a good signing.

Seems not that many are that impressed with only 34% saying he was a great signing.

54% think he is an average signing, which I think is a bit harsh. Remember when Sven played him England looked a completely different proposition.

9% sat on the fence saying they weren't sure yet and 3% wanted Defoe as well.

lol, shouldnt have signed him, hes a very average player imo, as arsene says english market is VERY over priced, many foreign mids who are alot better than carrick, jus look at arsene getting rosicky a much better and more complete plaer than carrick and half the price, wait til the difference in quality between the two nxt season.

i agree with hazzagooner english players are well overpriced,we should of looked abroad we could of gotten two midfielders of better quality for that amount, such as arsenal did with rosicky

carrick is very good but the deal is just above average. He is no roy keane and probably never will be. im not even sure how much u need him cos giggs n scholes can pass but u need a tackler, a rock. he is not quite rosicky calibre. Rosicky almost went to milan for 33mil in his early 20s.
