Young Lions Charge to the Forefront!

Only a matter of days after Sir Alex Ferguson launched a tirade in the direction of the FA, a tirade tied in with United`s England players, United have provided a fair proportion of the squad named for the trip to Sofia.

In the squad are:-

Phil Jones

Ashley Young

Tom Cleverley

Chris Smalling

And

Wayne Rooney

It`s strange to think that Wayne Rooney is the oldest of the bunch.

Not too sure Cleverley, Smalling and Jones will feature much if at all to be honest and i'm kind of glad they won't. They've got a long season which they need to be fit for not only that but our defence is looking thin already with Ferdinand, Vidic and Rafael all out injured. It would also be unfair on the likes of Cahill and Jagielka who have been knocking on the first-team door for quite some time to not be given their chance. I hate international breaks though one benefit of it I suppose is Vidic and Welbeck are given time to recover.
