'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Centre Back Warning

So impressive were the performances of Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones, against Tottenham, that it I snow being suggested that Sir Alex Ferguson will soon be faced with a selection problem.

With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic both sidelined, Sir Alex has warned that either, or both, might find it hard to win their place back in the starting eleven if the youngsters continue to produce such impressive performances, with Sir Alex quoting,

"Rio and Nemanja are aware of the abilities of the young players. There is no question about that."

"When they are both fit, or one of them is, I will make a decision."

Some decision but a decision that I`d be vey surprised if the outcome wasn`t to go with Vidic and Ferdinand!

It will most probably end up being the experienced two of Ferdinand and Vidic despite them conceding more goals than the youngsters so far this season.
