Bound For Villa?

Bound For Villa?

With a proposed move to Sunderland not materializing this summer, could Darren Gibson have found a new club?

Our spies in the media are running speculative articles that infer that the Northern Ireland international is wanted by Alec McLeish, AT Aston nVilla.

Apparently a fee of £3.5 million is being mentioned.

We`ll keep an eye on this one!

As a villa fan i wouldnt mind gibbo he seems to have a goal in him which our current cm positions dont seem to do enough for me, and £3-5million is surely a bargain what u utd fans think of him?

3.5 mil?! We're getting bumped! He has the potential to be a great player. ClivetheVillan on his day he's fantastic and will spray balls all over the pitch and hit 30+ yarders the issue with us was we couldn't get any consistency out of him but I reckon that was more to do with a lack of first-team action, we should've loaned him out earlier in his career. If he goes to Villa and get a consistent run in your team at 3.5 mil, even at 6-8 mil, I reckon you'll be getting your monies worth.

Really wouldn't want gibson if im totally honest, i don't think at this moment in stage he will improve our team at all. We have delph and bannan in our ranks who can potentially be excellent players and playing at the top level. What i saw from gibson in his brief run in your team last year was he had a lot of shots and probably getting 1 in 5 on target, his passing is decent but again just would not be an improvement.

Gibbo was too erratic for us due to lack of 1st team action - poor lad - will do really well at another club though
