Welbeck Spills the Beans!
For forty-five minutes last night United huffed and puffed without looking too convincing.
It turns out that Sir Alex Ferguson wasn`t too pleased with the first half performance and, following the completion of our second win of the season, one of the stars of the night - Danny Welbeck, blew the lid on Sir Alex, once again, bringing the famous hairdryer treatment into force, with Welbeck spilling the beans,
"We went into the dressing room at half-time and after a few choice words from the gaffer. We came out and got started."
What is it with sides having poor first halves?
On Saturday, spying on one of our potential rivals for the title, I couldn`t help but notice that Chelsea were suffering from a similar complex.
Has anybody got any logical reasons why this occurs?

We could always make life easier for ourselves and actually turn full throttle in the first half. I thought our build play in the first half was great but it just wasn't getting us anywhere.

Sputrs were unlucky not to score - woodwork saved us, but hey we won - and some stylish play in the 2nd half

Typicially United, not "getting it on" in the first half, and going full throttle in the second. Would love to see a game, where we played our pants off for 90 minutes, maybe against Arsenal, this would surely lead to a humiliation.
