'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ferdinand One Week Away From Fitness!

Having, by some sources, been tipped to make a surprise comeback from what was looking like a long term injury, this Monday, Sir Alex Ferguson thinks it might be a few days too soon.

Instead, Sir Alex is inferring that it is probably more likely that Rio will be back for the Arsenal game with the Scot remarking ahead of the visit from Spurs,

"Rio could be ready for our game against Arsenal next weekend."

"I don`t think he will be ready for Monday, but it`s amazing how things can change in a few days."

Let`s not rush this one shall we!

Actually both can pull a sicky and stay off a little while longer so they get fully fit - Jones and Smalling looked really good tonight

That they did. The Tottenham attack were 8itched up by Englands future CB pairing.

And one of them was playing out of position as a RB and did a fantastic job there!
