With a Far East share flotation a reality rather than a possibility, many view such a move, by the Glazers, as being solely to raise cash to ease the debt.

Whatever the case, it appears that the mere name of Manchester United is sufficient enough to have companies pouring their money into our coffers.

Today the Observer newspapers is inferring that DHL are quite content to pay us a cool £4 million a season to merely sponsor our training kit.

It`s a significant sum when you consider, as the Observer points out, £4 millions is more than twelve club sin the top flight receive for first team kit sponsorship!
