In For Nasri?

The grapevine suggests that our noisy-neighbours have failed in their bid to sign the Frenchman, Samir Nasri, from Arsenal.

News that the deal had hit a problem broke in the French press yesterday and some news agencies are predicting that the breakdown could provide the catalyst needed to see Manchester united make a late bid for the player.

However much I consider it though, I can`t quite see this one happening, can you?

Fergie said we're not getting him and thats pretty much that. If he wanted him he wouldn't of waited until contract talks with City to break down would he?

Its not about Ferguson waiting for contract talks to break down or not. Every transfer needs two signatures - the selling club and the player's. It was fairly clear from the onset that Arsenal would not sign on the contract of sale of Nasri to United.

Assuming Fergie even put a bid in for Nasri.

Its again fairly clear that Ferguson did put in a bid, just like he did for Sneijder.

Why is it clear? Do you work for either team or in fact agents? Probably not - so you must be specualting

And he signs for City - no sign of any bids coming in from Utd - so its fairly clear Fergie DID NOT BID.
