The clock is ticking and still Manchester United have hopes of signing Wesley Sneijder.

Today it is being reported that Sir Alex Ferguson will make one last attempt to persuade Inter (and the player) that a deal is in the interests of all parties.

Substantiation, in one Sunday paper, is given to the possibility by the inference that Wesley has pulled out of training for personal reasons.
