Your MOTM v West Bromwich Albion!

Your MOTM v West Bromwich Albion!

Having opened our account for the season with three points, albeit via a deflected winner, we`re now in a position to reveal who you voted for as your man-of-the-match.

On the day, the accolade, awarded by Sky Sports, went to our new signing from Aston Villa, Ashley Young.

You, the Vital Manchester United membership, saw no reason to disagree with a huge 53% opting for the flying forward.

In second place, surprisingly, was David De Gea with 24% of the vote, a vote of confidence perhaps.

Our latest poll features the forthcoming, tantalising clash with Harry Redknapp`s Spurs.

Use your vote wisely!

I don't think De Gea's votes are votes for confidence but rather VF members spamming the poll in a pitiful attempt to be funny. Young was great against Westbrom and hopefully he can replicate that last display against the Spuds.

Young is in form no doubt about it - long may this form continue!
