Vidic Blow!

Vidic Blow!

Like Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic was a casualty in our opening weekend win over West Bromwich Albion.

Our club captain limped off with a calf problem.

Initially, it was thought that Vidic would only be out for a fortnight, unfortunately that view is now looking to be optimistic with the latest inference being we`re looking at a six week lay-off for the defender.

Not good news!

Would've preferred it if it was Vidic making the speedy recovery and Ferdinand to be out longer to be honest. He's going to miss some big games unfortunately for us.
