Young Enjoying Life!

Young Enjoying Life!

A good start to a career at Manchester United is one thing but ensuring it is prolonged and turned into a memorable United career is another matter.

Ashley Young deservedly picked up the man-of-the-match award against West Bromwich Albion and there is genuine anticipation that the signing from Aston Villa is ready to up his game now that he`s surrounded by top-notch professionals.

Young, speaking to the press, doesn`t seem fazed by the attention and shows a remarkable willing to learn from those around him, remarking,

"I take everything on board form training and I want to put that on the field anytime that I put a United shirt on."

"I learn and will keep getting better with the guys around me. I`ve a good understanding with the players but everyone`s got a great understanding here, that`s why they have won so much."

Young does, of course, give Sir Alex Ferguson so many options. He can play on either flank but isn`t averse to playing a central role where his explosive pace can catch defenders unawares.

But, like the opening paragraph implies, it is a monumental step and one that will require Young to put in a hell of a lot of work to maintain, and improve upon, the start he`s made to his United career.

His efforts during training are reflected by his tremendous performances on the pitch for us so far. There's definately an understanding between him Rooney and Fabio/Evra with some very nice link up play. Just need someone to get on the end of those great whipped in crosses. I can't wait for Hernandez to come back into the team.
