One Last Signing?

Although Sir Alex Ferguson, quite rightly in our opinion, has expressed a desire to give youth a chance this season, could we be making one last splurge in the transfer market before the window closes?

The reason I ask is that one rumour doing the rounds carries the inference that United could be about to make a hefty bid for the Newcastle midfielder - Cheik Tiote

A price of 14 million is being banded about although whether there`s any concrete evidence to support the rumour remains unknown.

If we hear anything, we`ll report back further!

I like Tiote. He would definately add some steel to the midfield and will be better cover for Fletcher when he's unavailable than Carrick. 14 mil doesn't seem bad but it doesn't feel like a great deal either. Can't see it happening though.

we do need a proper DM in there that will only think about defending but i doubt fergie will buy. hope he plays Jones in DM or something cause are back 4 is being exposed far too much especially if we keep playing anderson and cleverley in midfield.

With United there is always one last signing to ensure the TV cameras are at Old Trafford the last day of the window! You all kidding me or something?
