'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Back from Retirement?

One Sunday tabloid is actively following a storyline that infers that Dimitar Berbatov could be about to come out of international retirement.

Berbatov, who has struggled to maintain a place in the starting eleven, retired from international football back in May 2010.

But this Sunday tabloid believes that the Bulgarian could be tempted back just to savour playing regularly again.

The fact that Bulgaria are in England`s UEFA qualifying group just serves to add spice to the story.

Whether there`s actually any truth in it remains to be seen.

good move berba, hell need a team to play while the kids show him how its done @ manchester united >( , lazy scum! :) , entertain after we are 3 or 4 goals ahead you clown!

He may need those international games if he's to break back into the first team. From what I saw today Welbeck was for more influential than what Berby was, in fairness he did only have 20 mins to show us. Berby isn't a super sub, if he's staying at the club to remain predominately on the bench there really is no point in keeping him.

he looked tidy enough today but nothing to suggest he'll displace Javier!
