Six in the running

Sir Alex feel that there is no longer as top four, it is a top six and all of these clubs are in the running to challenge United for the title.

Chelsea, Arsenal and City are the clubs that he feels will challenge most strongly though: 'City are still short of a bit of fitness, they have Aguero to come in, Tevez to come back and they might buy another two players.

'The experience Chelsea have is better than anyone. Terry, Drogba and Cech have been there for yonks.

'They have been involved in the last seven titles. You cannot, in any way, dismiss them.

'The expectation will be on Liverpool to improve given the money they have spent and you can't rule Arsenal out either.

'They used to talk about a top four. Now it is the top six. That is even more interesting for everyone.'

United will go into the season as title favourites, but will by no means be taking this for granted.

It is still top 4 Ol' Red Nose... We know who to dismiss... Don't patronize us..

Whilst all 6 have the ability to win the Premier League realistically this season I still feel it will boil down to us and Chelsea.

No offence, but I think it's almost definitely going to be a top-3 this season unless someone like Arsenal or Tottenham pull a rabbit out of the tranfer window hat or Liverpool's collection of average-looking players actually live up to the optimistic predictions of their fans.

Chelsea will be our nearest challengers - especially if they add to their squad beofre the window closes!
