Real Return For Nistelrooy?

According to the official site, Real Madrid have returned with a second bid for Ruud van Nistelrooy.

A Madrid spokesman is quoted saying: 'The club have made a new offer and are waiting for reply from Manchester.'

Sir Alex Ferguson was asked about the situation and said there was no news ''None at all. At this moment in time....He trained well yesterday. He had a good attitude to his training, which is good, therefore he's a United player.'

Manchester United have again been linked with Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe, with reports suggesting Utd will bid around £12million for the player.

Great player to lose, especially to UnReal Madrid.

Great player who forgot that 11 players make a team and is now on the outer with fans, his manager and other players, better to lose him to Real than to Liverpool where he can use his skills week in week out and make Utd's target chase that much harder.

Could make United's Champions League chase that much harder though

Real Madrid have confirmed on their website that they will complete the signing of Van Nistlelrooy on Friday.
still skeggy
I get the feeling that one of Glazers sons could be playing up front for us this season, the board and fergie need to get their act together and make some signings and not carrick or defoe, how about appiah, luca toni, kevin nolan, klose. i cant believe fergie didnt go in for duff a missed opportunity to get a world class winger in for a small enough fee, get ready for the return of poborsky, he'll be all we can afford soon thanks to mr glazer
