Hargreaves Not Interested in Foxes!

Hargreaves Not Interested in Foxes!

Any chances of Owen Hargreaves dropping into the Championship, with Leicester City, seem to have completely floundered.

Released by Manchester United, talk had been rife that Hargreaves was wanted by Sven Goran Eriksson as he tries to guide Leicester City towards the Premier League.

But it appears to have been just that - talk, with Sven commenting about the deal now being dead,

"It will not happen now. If it was going to happen it would have already been done now it is too late."

"I can`t reach him. I have only spoken to his agent and he has not come back to me, which is a little bit strange."

Very strange!

He might not have much choice other than to sign for a lower club. He has to prove he's still Premier League worthy and not too many Premier League teams are open to the risk of paying a years wage for no return due to injury or possible drop in ability.

Spot on No7, besides Leicester are spending big and are certain to be challenging for promotion at the very least.

A man in his position can't afford to be choosy, and it doesn't look like there's been too much PL interest.
