Valencia Signs New Deal!

Valencia Signs New Deal!

As we reported in an article last week, United have given Antonio Valencia a new contract.

The deal is for four years and, reportedly, doubles his weekly salary.

Speaking about the contract, Sir Alex Ferguson is commented, in the red-top press, as having commented,

"Antonio has made a fantastic contribution. His speed, crossing ability and versatility have been a big asset for us."

"He has a quiet unassuming way of going about his business, which is underlined by great strength of character - as his recovery from such a bad injury proves."

Whereas the player himself is, obviously, just as delighted, remarking,

"I am delighted to stay at United, I look forward to helping the squad compete for more trophies."

Congratulations all round, now let`s get this season underway!

Fantastic player and it's great news that his signed a new contract. Nani might be a more gifted winger but Valencia is the more consistent and reliable one.
