Hernandez Lay-Off!

Hernandez Lay-Off!

The mild concussion suffered by Javier Hernandez, a concussion that rung a few alarm bells seems to have subsided slightly after a few reassuring words from Sir Alex Ferguson.

In fact, Sir Alex has stepped forward and re-iterated an earlier comment that dictated that Javier would not be considered for the first few games of the new season with Sir Alex wary of the fact he`s been on international duty and could be at risk of suffering from burn-out.

Re-iterating this point, Sir Alex had this to say after the win in the friendly fixture against Barcelona,

"Javier was always going to get a break until he did his proper pre-season."

"In a two week period now he`ll do some training but he won`t play." We`ll have him back in three to four weeks."

I`m sure with the plethora of talent at his disposal, we`ll cope adequately!

The first few games are tough ones and his presence will be missed. We should be able to cope without him though with some excellent players up front. It's not the frontline i'm concerned about.
