Welbeck draws Inspiration from Hernandez

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Danny Welbeck will not be going out on loan again this season.

Our boss will not be sanctioning a return to Sunderland or to any other club for that matter.

Therefore it`s pleasing to read that Danny is hoping to draw inspiration, next season, from how a certain Javier Hernandez exceeded all expectations last season and nailed down a first team place.

Welbeck, who made his full England debut last season had this to say,

"What Javier did shows you that if you`re in form the manager plays you and he is always going to give youth a chance as well."

"Javier was not starting most of the games but he was sin the side later and was on top form."

"We have got good competition among the strikers at United so you just have to go out there and show what you can do."

Admirable words but it`ll be very hard to nudge aside the likes of Rooney, Hernandez, Owen and Berbatov to nail down a regular starting spot, but you just never know!

Well Rooney is in the side no matter how poorly he plays and how well you play. Welbeck can play just behind the forward, as the striker himself or out wide, his utility in the forward positions alone would suggest he will definately be getting games though it will be very hard for him to cement the place.
