Aware that he would be surplus to requirements at the end of the season, Wes Brown has spoken to the media of how Sir Alex Ferguson gave him some advice on where he should end up.
Wes, now wearing the colours of our Premier League rivals, Sunderland, has remarked in the media,
"I wasn`t playing last season so I knew things weren`t really right. We were talking about the clubs interested in me and Sunderland were one of his favourites."
"I`m pretty sure Sir Alex thinks this is a good move for me. I`ve missed the buzz of a match day and it`s going to be great to get into the flow again."
We`ll be watching, albeit not too closely, how Wes gets on at his new club.
