I Want To Stay Says £25m Target
'I want to stay,' were the words that Sir Alex Ferguson did not want to hear from Fernando Torres, unfortunately that is exactly what the Atletico Madrid striker has said.
The 22-year-old Spain international said:
'There's been a lot of discussion during my holiday about my possible exit but the reality is that I'm here for another year. If I had wanted to leave Atletico Madrid, I would have done it years ago. I feel fine here.'
Adding: 'If I had wanted to leave Atletico Madrid I would have done it years ago.'
Still, despite numerous reports that we were chasing the £25million rated striker, it is only press talk and Sir Alex has already confirmed the midfield is his priority.
