Tit for Tat?

Having yesterday, intimated that Carlos Tevez had told him he would be looking to retire in 2013, our favourite Argentine has hit back with his own version of events.

Tevez, speaking about his career and trying to put the record straight, has remarked through a spokesman

"At no time did he discuss retiring with the Manchester United management and Mr Ferguson has not mentioned this at any time before."

"In fact Carlos feels he is capable of playing for a further eight years and though he has been in the form of his life he feels he is only going to get better in the coming years."

The plot thickens!

Nonsense has he never spoke of retiring. How can you even attempt to defend yourself when you released comments like this?

He said he never spoke to Slur about retiring TF7. Can you prove he did?

We've got two conlficting claims going on. The difference between the claims is Tevez has publically declared that he thinks of retiring thus adding more authority to what Fergie claim.

Horse***** TF7. Slur is obviously using Tevez' quotes he made well after leaving U*d to try to intimate that he was right not to sign him up( despite him trying in vain to ). Is there any fans in the world that are more subservient than U*d fans?

Perhaps you should take a look at the other article to see that I said us not signing tevez was more to do with watching the pennies. I'm pointing out that it's a possibility that Tevez did in fact say to Fergie that he's considering retiring in a few years, there's nothing suggesting otherwise whilst there's quotes from Tevez supporting Fergies claims suggesting he will retire in a few years time.

There is NOTHING supporting Slur's claim. He's using quotes that were made by Tevez after he left U*d to make himself look good. I can't believe anyone can be so naive to believe him. Here's a question for you, when City signed Tevez and put up that poster Slur spat his dummy out, so tell me this why didn't Slur make these claims then? Surely if he's telling the truth now he had already had this conversation with Tevez about him retiring he would have used it to his advantage then making City look silly for signing him,no?

As for a more subservient fan than United fans perhaps you should look closer to home mate, i'm sure you'll find your answer.

There's nothing supporting Fergies claims other than the claims about retirement, which weren't too long after leaving United Tevez has already made himself? Heck, it wasn't even Tevez directly who denied the quotes but a 'spokesman'. :S Being honest, I really couldn't give a 5hit, you can argue until you're blue in the face but unless you present evidence of Tevez not saying it to Fergie, other than Tevez's own word, then you're not going to make me think any different. I'm not saying for certain he definately did say it to Fergie, i'm saying there's more of a possibility that he did say it to Fergie than he him not saying it to Fergie and the difference between you and I is, I had evidence supporting Fergie's claim whereas you've presented nothing more than theories.

Why didn't Slur say this when he made the 'noisy neighbour' remark, perfect opportunity for him to make City and Tevez look silly with this. Why is there quotes suggesting U*d tried to sign Tevez before City got him if Slur knew he was going to retire. It doesn't make sense mate, work it out. Un feckin believable!

Stupid? Why because a I disagree with you? This is typical Bluedub if you don't agree with me you're chatting 5hit and are stupid. Actually, wait a sec, i'm not even completely disagreeing with but simply stating it's a possibility, something you still haven't produced evidence to suggest otherwise. I also said that us losing Tevez was primarily to do with watching the pennies more than him retiring but then that sparks the idea of why would we watch the pennies? But that notion then leads to the idea that we may of been watching the pennies because something might've been said. Insults and an inability to giveway in an argument is a symptom of always having to be right you know? I understand defending you club and players but i've never seen someone so blinkered to believe his club and players are in the right all the time. You call us subservient, do you see the irony in that? Like I said, give me some evidence rather than throwing theories at me then I will apologise and admit i'm wrong until then, keep on telling yourself that you're 100% right and there's no chance tevez ever said to Fergie he's contemplating retirement in the near future despite admitting it shortly afterwards to the public.

Maybe stupid is a tad harsh but incredibly naive is not. To think Slur wouldn't have said this as a dig at City when Tevez signed is just ludicrous.

To be honest I think it is strange that Fergie would not have mentioned this whole retirement stuff when the fans were annoyed that the Tevez deal wasn't made permanent, at least to get our own fans off his back. It seems more likely that it were some sort of mind game on Fergie's part, he's starting early this season isn't he? Subservient though? lol surely you mean "Are there any fans more respectful of their managers achievements while at their club then us rags?" and the answer would probably be no, but there are not many fans with the opportunity to respect such a successful manager and club.

No mate, it's not respect it's blind obedience bordering on the arse-licking. I've read enough of your forums to know that a large minority of your fans repeatedly call for taggart's head when the team isn't playing well, so I don't see much respect going on. And surely as long-standing 'nited fans both you and famous should be used to Voldemort lying his pants off at least once a month, why wouldn't he change his spots now?
