'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Young`s United Thoughts!

For £20 million, I`m expecting big things of our new signing Ashley Young.

Over in the USA, Ashley has started his United career well and in speaking to the media he seems keen to become a United legend.

In his latest interview he goes on to discuss improving his game, wanting to join United and improving the game.

See what you think,

"The standard here is much higher, high class and that`s why they win titles."

"They set a high standard with that winning mentality and as soon as you get into the team and start training, you can see they all want to win. It makes you want to go out and do the same thing."

"I always said I wanted to challenge myself and have a chance to play in the Champions League and challenge for the title."

"I`m excited by the prospect of this season coming up. By the time I heard about the interest from United I just wanted to get the paperwork done and get back into training."

"I signed a week before pre-season and I just wanted to get started. I`m delighted to be here now and looking forward to the season ahead. The boys did fantastic last season and hopefully, I can come in and add to it with what the manager has seen in me.

"The club showed interest in me for a reason, so I`ll just keep on doing what I`ve been doing and work hard in training."

"I`ll keep learning from the players and staff that are here and take my game to another level."

Anyone fancy estimating how many games and how many goals Young will get this coming season?

I still can't quite work out the team for the coming season let alone the impact individual players will have. I'm assuming a 4-4-1-1 will be adopted for the majority of the season with starting line up of: De Gea, Rafael/Fabio, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Fletcher, Giggs, Nani, Rooney, Hernandez -- assuming they're all fit and available. Youngs got a great attitude and hopefully his development comes on leaps and bounds after stalling at Villa.

A manure player with thoughts? Taggart will soon stamp that out of him, don't you worry about that.

When I come to Vital Man United, I feel I have come to an empty desert, when I go to Vital spurs, I feel i am encountering wilds of the jungle.

If that is our centre midfield for next season No7 I'm not expecting much next year.
Kanchelskis
I'm still hoping for that AM Kanchelskis but I'm not about to hold my breath on it.

We need someone else. Our team will be exactly the same except for De gea and lets be honest it was only just good enough last year. A new midfielder is needed urgently.
