'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ewood Bound?

Having confirmed that Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck will be staying at Old Trafford this forthcoming season, one publication believes that another of our youngsters will be moved on.

It`s being inferred that Mame Biram Diouf will be joining Blackburn Rovers. No mention of whether it`s a loan deal or a sale is mentioned, therefore we`ll endeavour to report further if any concrete news is forthcoming.

Still not entirely convinced Fergies given up on him just yet to be honest, it wasn't to long ago he was praising how impressed he was with him and he never forgets to mention his name when talking of our strike force. He never really shone at Blackburn but he did get plenty of chances which he failed to take, he really needs to work on his finishing. He can become a decent striker, his got the work rate, aerial ability, power and strength to really cause problems for defenders however, if he can't put the ball in the back of the net then he's all bark and no bite which won't earn him a place at United. I recall someone once saying it was more of a buy for Solskjaer's reserves than a prospect or 1st team player, I'd like to think otherwise but if we sell him, well, I guess they were right. Wouldn't bode well with me to be honest, I understand buying players with a decent resale value, however, if we're buying players knowing they're not United quality and to solely sell them on for a profit I will truly be gutted.
