Gibson In Limbo!

Darron Gibson may not be on the tour of the USA but he`s still very much in the thoughts of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The midfielder`s move to Sunderland looks to be anon-starter now, as Sir Alex explains,

"He was on the point of going to Sunderland and somewhere along the line, I don`t know exactly when, I think Sunderland moved the goalposts."

"I suppose their job is to try and save money."

"From what I can gather, they gave him an offer and then changed it. That annoyed Darron and I think he`s quite right."

"If you can`t trust them on day one why wait until day two?"

And as for not being in the tour party, Sir Alex confirmed,

"Darron was undecided about what to do when we made the group up to come here - and we both felt he`d be better staying back."

"He seems to be in limbo at the moment."

We await news of any other approaches for Darron`s services!

I'm sorry but Sunderland aren't the bad guys nor is Gibson the victim. Who would pay 40k a week for a 23 year old who is yet to even justify the fee they're paying for him?

TheFamousNo7
@Thefamousno7,thanks for the piece of information, but i think i'm also trying to help.I'm trying to make this forum lively, but it seems the forum was meant to be dull.
Dannism
Cheers for the effort.
TheFamousNo7
40,000 a week for Gibson lol but while we are at it how much is Michael Owen on, Obertan, Bebe, Carrick, amongst others? The waste of money on completely useless players is ridiculous.

Thought the english patient was on a pay-as-you play contract? In which case he's only taking home about 3.00 per season.
