Starting All Over Again!

Having gotten the USA Tour off to a resounding start with the emphatic 4-1 win over New England Revolution, it looks as if the United machine is ready to roll again.

Last season, notching up top-flight title number 19, was a good season even if Barcelona did outplay us in the Champions League Final.

But, like our club captain Nemanja Vidic has said, it`s time to go again and after the recent victory in Boston, the defender had this to say about starting all over again,

"The manager has already asked us if we have the hunger to go again this season."

"If you play for Manchester United, you have to have that hunger inside you - it is part of being a United player. No one is allowed to stay still and think about what we won last time."

"This is a new season and a new challenge. If you don`t have that mentality, then it will be hard for you at a club like this."

But once that record breaking title win, things have evolved slightly at Old Trafford, several familiar faces have gone and three new ones have come in, prompting Nemanja to add,

"I believe they are all good buys and now its time for us all to work hard because we have a difficult schedule in the first few matches."

"We have no time to ease our way into the season. We have to hit the ground running. We have more big games in the first 10 matches than I have ever known."

"We play all our main rivals in the opening weeks and cannot afford to start slowly like last year, when Chelsea left us behind for a while."

"That can`t happen this time and we know that."

It promises to be a great start to the season.

Hopefully the hunger and desire is reflected in the teams away form this season as well as home form!

get in Sneijder for a shipload of money pay over the odds for him see what Modric did to him in the CL last year made him look like a mannequin lolol.

I watched both and to be frank both games were Bale shows. Seeing as Modric was supposedly making Sneijder look like a statue you never really done anything until the last 20 mins in the 4-3 loss a contrast to the 70 mins of football he was splitting your defense with ease. There's no argument about who's better between Sneijder and Modric and it's silly to believe otherwise because of 1 game. Just compare the 2 players careers to see the gulf of quality. Sneijder: World Cup finalist, CL winner, BBVA winner, Serie A winner, Eredivisie winner played for Ajax, Real Madrid and Inter, some of the most successful clubs in the footballing world. Modric: Carling Cup, Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham.
