Something We Have to Live With!

Over in the states, Rio seems to have gone on the attack when it comes to the media.

The defender, seems to have decided that attack is the best form of defence and has gone on the offensive to state how wonderful a season we had last around, commenting to the media about a reluctance to accept United as the force they are

"It is ridiculous and makes me laugh. We`ve won the title four times out of the least five. Half of it is people want someone else to win. Our 19th title was fantastic but we lost the Champions League Final to Barcelona."

"When you dust yourself down and analyse it all, we had a successful season. We should enjoy it."

"At the start of the season, if someone had said we`d reach the Champions League Final and win the league we`d have accepted it."

"The time before in Rome, when we lost to Barca 2-0 in 2009, I spent my whole summer moping around even though we had won the league."

"I just think you have to savour moments like that. The 19th title was a big event."

It was Rio but for all those that love United there are many more who want to see us fall flat on our faces! It`s something we have to live with but it does make those successes all the sweeter!

How much 'respect' was given to Liverpool when they were ahead of you by miles not just 1 title? i recall something about an f***ing perch? Respect is earned not given, so when United learn to give respect then it will be received until that time...here is recognition from the world of sport and a chelsea fan on how believeable Fergie has become http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/features/2011-07-16/no-man-united-interest-sneijder-and-more-truth-according-fergie maybe you could keep Ferdinand on a leash until he understands English?

And remember that Liverpools titles were earned when there was only 2 points for a win

I can't workout why we're not favourites. Fair enough we've lost Scholes and Van Der Sar and there's question marks over whether De Gea will adapt and whether our midfield is strong enough to compete but when you take a look at our title rivals they're hardly in the best positions either. Chelsea's ageing squad just got 1 year old and there's been no significant reinforcing whilst Arsenal haven't addressed their fragile defense which has gotten weaker with the departure of Clichy.

Lets wait n see.......chelsea any time will still be our greatest treat in d league......
