Valencia Fear
Whispers coming in from across the ocean suggest that our Ecuadorian winger, Antonio Valencia, may have picked up an injury.
Those same whispers also suggest that the injury is to the same ankle he injured against Glasgow Rangers last September and caused him to miss a fair chunk of the season.
Valencia didn`t participate in Ecuador`s last international with the team doctor commenting in the media,
"For his own good we cannot risk him. He still feels pain. If he did turn out and got injured, we would lose him for a long time."
The insinuation being that this latest knock could see Valencia miss the start of the season.
We hope not!
