'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Wait is Over!

Without any World Cup or European Championship action, at senior level, to keep us entertained, it`s been a long summer.

But tonight, over in the good old US of A, United get the show on the road with the first of their tour games.

The opposition are the New England Revolution with the game taking place in Boston.

There`s a little added spice involved with our opposition being managed by the ex-Liverpool stalwart, Steve Nicol.

I can`t wait can you?

Just came from the game! Not a bad run out! Berba looked just like hs lazy self, never showing for anything! We badly need Sneijder for creativity! Owen looks sharp, took his goal well, clinical!!! Young looks decent but i think i'd prefer to see him on the right and not having to cut inside all the time!

Video Highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdr7LzwxFNc --- It's only a friendly against a weak side but quite a few positives can be drawn out of this. Firstly, I think Carrick has finally mastered the art of playing the ball forward, with 2 very good balls to both Macheda and Owen. Macheda was really sharp in front of goal and looked so comfortable when scoring his first with his weaker foot. Owen showed us why he should stay whilst Berby showed us why he should go. Obertan looked decent and like java said Young looked decent but would perhaps be better off on the right and leave the left side to someone who can cross with both feet or just their left foot. Andersons passing also looked really quite good. Park and Giggs link up as well as Parks finish was amazing and the pick of the bunch.
