No Nasri?

Prior to departing for the Stateside Tour, Sir Alex Ferguson appeared to accept that the apparent quest to sign Samir Nasri was going to end in failure.

Speaking about the French international who has yet to agree a contract extension with Arsenal, Sir Alex had this to say,

"I don`t think he`s coming to United."

"That`s all I can tell you. I think he`s agreed to go somewhere else."

"Maybe he has agreed to stay at Arsenal. That`s his (Wengers) decision, he`s the manager."

But, aware that Nasri may stay at Arsenal and leave when his contract is up next summer, Sir Alex added,

"If he (Wenger) stands by that decision, it`s a brave one. I don`t know how the directors will enjoy that one, but it`s certainly possible."

Does that imply that any of our players would be sold rather than be allowed to go down the out of contract scenario?

If so, Dimitar Berbatov might be more than a little concerned!

I still reckon Nasri will sign a new contract but I can't help but feel Fergie trying to play one of his mind games with this one. Pretty much telling Nasri we won't wait and also making the Arsenal board aware of the potential loss to almost force a move through in our favour. Perhaps i'm just reading in to it too much.

I think you could be right No7, got a feeling he will run his contract down and maybe sign next year though.

We'll get Sneijder, Inter will get Nasri, Arsenal will get Joe Cole.
Kanchelskis
haha Joe Cole, isnt he too famous for Arsenal.. In a couple of days the papers will run a story saying United are in for Joe Cole, prompting our delusional neighbours to make a 50m£ offer for him, hence he will end up at the abu dhabi ground. Nasri will leave on free next year, costing Arsenal between 20m£ and 25m£ in lost transfer fee. I am sure he will end up in Italy og Perhaps Spain. Have a sneaky feeling that we will sign Sneijder.

Nerdy, you're really taking idiocy to a whole new level today. Have you been hitting the crack pipe?
