'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wesley`s Coming!

And so the rumours continue to gather momentum!

It`s got to the stage whereby it`ll be a major disappointment if Wesley Sneijder doesn`t sign for Manchester United.

The latest inference is that United are going to break their transfer record and pay Inter Milan a huge £35 million for his signature and that his weekly salary will exceed the £220,000 a week Wayne Rooney is supposedly on.

As is the norm, with the scent of a huge transfer deal filling their nostrils, the tabloid hacks have been working overtime trying to source quotes to support this impending transfer.

The obligatory source, reportedly, provided the following quote to one delighted hack,

"Everyone expects Wesley`s move to United to be announced soon, maybe as early as Wednesday."

"He has spoken to his Dutch team-mate De Jong to find out where are the best places to live in Manchester."

"It all looks imminent, no matter what Inter or Wesley may say in public."

"It seems Inter want to sell but don`t want to admit it, while Wesley wants to go but doesn`t want to say it. It`s a good move for him and good business for Inter."

If it is all true, it promises to be one hell of a coup!

if s.h.i.t.t.y got 400 we should get about 10 or 20 billions given our history and succes, oh and look at NAPOLI, they had maradona playing for them and he alone won them the title in the 80s ( thats some history) and they know their place in history, so i think we should help them to have more history and take that million that dilaurentis is offering us for a friendly.
RedDevilKile
now maybe shi.tty can go to play to the middle east and enahce their poor history and buy more fan and bring them back home to fill the eastland toiled, sorry, etihad toilet

Reddickedkylie - you're on fire mate, keep it up!

The Suns chatting it's usual b0ll0x. Sneijder isn't fussed whether he stays or goes and isn't about to force through a move. Inter aren't selling describing him as 'untransferrable'. Also, we have our no over 26 policy whereby we don't sign players 26 or over for hefty sums. Fergie had Nasri as his number one target rather than Sneijder suggesting, like I said before, we were never in the market for him. Fergie also said you can't replace Scholes and that he's going to look towards the academy.

I'd be chuffed to bits to be proved wrong but all the evidence indicates that it's not going to happen.
TheFamousNo7
Great player, and he would be great for United, I just dont want United to pay that kind of money and salary for a 27 year old. Id rather trust, Pogba, Cleverly and Morrison.
nordkap
I wouldn't trust those three, if it all goes wrong we are stuck for the season. I know we gotta have a bit of faith in our youngsters but think we need someone like Sneijder to give the whole team and fans a big buzz.
rooneyisgod
forgot that maybe the friendly offer from napoli could be a way to say" come and watch marek hamsik" , i think we need him or maybe javi martines, we already have plenty of football, we need a strong dm.
RedDevilKile
Just get someone in already. Sneijder is the obvious stand out choice but there are others, I just wish they would hurry up and sign a good att mid so the papers will ***** off with their bs.
Kanchelskis
Wouldn't mind Hamsik but I'm assuming the Napoli 1 mil friendly offer was to generate a massive income rather than advertise their players. We should stick the our current trend of buying youngsters for the future and go for a Douglas Costa or some other 20 year old, not mid twenties like Modric or Sneijder.
TheFamousNo7
snieijder is crap please buy him and pay a shedload for him he got carved up in the Champs league.
Uskok
When did he get carved up exactly? If I remember correctly Sneijder is pretty much the only footballer so far to dominate both Xavi and Iniesta at the same time.
