Captain Already!

Captain Already!

John O`Shea may have only joined Sunderland a matter of days ago but already the ex-United defender is making his mark.

Our sources tell us that O`Shea is to be given the captains armband by Steve Bruce who has obviously recognized that O`Shea is something of a natural leader.

That didn`t take long did it!

No surprise really. O'Shea is a shining example of what's missing today in football. He's all for the club. He will come in and do whatever job is given to him and not make a fuss about it. He's willing to help others and is very vocal during a game. Great work rate, great team working skills and very professional, even off the field. Sunderland have got a great player and we lost one.

With all of his experience its well deserved. Still pretty gutted knowing he won't be there for us next year. What was it 3 million he went for? What a bargain.
