Smalling Reward!

Smalling Reward!

Having moved from Fulham to Old Trafford and having had such a great season, United have rewarded Chris Smalling.

The defender, who made 34 appearances for United last season, has been given a new five year deal at Old Trafford, a deal that, reportedly, sees his salary rise to a cool £50,000 a week.

Talking about his situation, one we`d all love to be in, Chris is quoted as having remarked,

"In the short time I have been here, I have already achieved more than I could have ever expected."

Chris, I suspect your incredible journey has only just begun.

What a buy! Smalling has been nothing short of brilliant since joining us and looks to be a star in the future, for both club and country. The future of the defense is sorted.
