Community Shield - Bring It On!

Community Shield - Bring It On!

Having moaned about the two sets of supporters being forced to converge on London for the FA Cup semi-final last season, we`re set for a similar scenario this season.

With United claiming the Premier League title and with City winning their first trophy since Noah loaded the animals onto the Ark, our paths are set to cross in the Community Shield this August.

United are the current holders of the Shield having, comfortably, beaten Chelsea 3-1 last August.

This time around the season curtain-raiser is scheduled to take place on Sunday August 7th with the kick off set for 14:30 hours.

Forget all those pre-season friendly fixtures and the USA tour, for us the season starts at Wembley, bring it on!

If it was not the fact it is a derby game i would pass on it. It may sound a bit big headed and i dont mean it to but i hate the new wembley with a vengeance and i am fed up with it already. It is a pain for anyone north of watford the travellling to and from the games is unbearable, and then on top of that the expense is also too much
