'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Trio Latest!

The much discussed possible moves of Wes Brown, John O`Shea and Darren Gibson, to Sunderland, is back under the spotlight in the red-top press today.

It`s being reported that Wes Brown is the closest to moving to the Stadium of Light with the defender undergoing a medical in the north-east last night.

With regards to the other two, it seems that Darren Gibson can`t agree terms with Sunderland but the Wearsiders are still optimistic of securing the services of John O`Shea with a medical planned after talks resumed following his wife having given birth last weekend.

Steve Bruce, content to raid his old club, is quoted as having commented about the ongoing situation,

"We are very close, Wes is up for talks and we hope to also speak with O`Shea. I would say we are inches away."

Should be quite interesting when we face Sunderland next season!

Please not O'Shea. I'm shocked the club never rejected the O'Shea bid. He's too useful to lose!

Cant believe we sold O'Shea either. Really think with a few injuries next year his experience would of been vital
