'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hargreaves Goes Public!

Touting your talents, when looking for a new club, is fast becoming a trend.

Michael Owen started the ball rolling by producing a glossy brochure when he was looking for a new start and now Owen Hargreaves has gone one step further.

Hargreaves, who has seen his Manchester United career blighted by injury in recent seasons, has posted 18 videos of himself on YouTube to show that, after being released by United, he has no fitness problems.

It could be viewed as a drastic measure but when your appearance record reads 5 minutes for 2009/2010 and 30 seconds for 2010/2011, you can see that Owen needs to dispel any fears relating to his fitness.

I, for one, hope that this tactic gets the player we recruited for 18 million, from Bayern Munich, a new deal!

Too bad we couldn't keep him on pay as you play, he will get a club I'm sure.
rooneyisgod
Yeah he should of been retained on a pay as you play deal.
Kanchelskis
Desperate and tragically comical all at the same time.

So it's agreed. Fergie shoudl resign him on a pay as you play deal. Kanchelskis, get in touch with Fergie and tell him for us will ya? It's frustrating that we sign an injury prone Micheal Owen on a pay as you play deal but we don't sign a player who's seemingly over his fitness issues, though still injury prone, with his last 2 injuries being unrelated to the original one which kept him out for 2 years, on a pay as you play deal.

I wish I could no7 but he's turned his phone off prob because I kept demanding that Carrick be sold and Joe Cole be brought in, the way I was looking at it if you are going to have a donkey in your team you might as well have the greatest donkey around, he didn't seem to share that prognosis though. You are right about the whole Michael Owen pay as you play deal, how he can merit such a deal yet a player who we spent 18 million on and had seemingly recovered from his worst injury, I just cannot get my head around that.
Kanchelskis
You do come out with some comical stuff.
