Sanchez Still on Radar

The future of Alexis Sanchez is far from settled.

The Udinese winger, chased by Barcelona, is still on the radar of Sir Alex Ferguson, if reports in the press are correct.

Apparently, Sir Alex is sitting back and waiting for the deal between Udinese and Barcelona to fall apart,

Barcelona have, reportedly, offered £24 million up front for Sanchez with a further £10 million coming to the Italian club when Sanchez plays 50% of Barca`s games next season.

It`s thought this could be the major stumbling block in the deal with Udinese reluctant to accept it believing that Sanchez will not reach such a percentage.

Wait, watch and see what happens is what we`re preaching!

Can't see it happening. Don't really want him anyway. Lets make that bid for Nasri.

With the figures being thrown about i'd sooner us look elsewhere. Sanchez is unproven in any league other than the Serie A where the opposition and pace of the game is hardly the hardest. Sanchez has expressed his desire to play for Barca so, in my opinion, let him play for Barca. By playing for Barca everyone knows it means sitting on the bench as you can't knock a Gods gift Catalonian out of the Barca side. No doubt in my mind he will regret it, or be too blinkered to realise he will be nothing more than a super sub and have genuine belief he's a vital part of the Barca set-up or perhaps just too stubborn to admit he's wrong and wasted his potential.

Barca know they're taking the p155 with the "£10 million coming to the Italian club when Sanchez plays 50% of Barca`s games next season". They know he won't, we know he won't and Udinese know he won't. Pay-up or look elsewhere Barca rather than taking the mick and expecting cut price deals just because you're Barcelona.

i still think his gonna be signing 4 barca.......his definately gonna fit in well into d team but il rather pick nasri......

not impressed with the lad that much, let Barca have him!

Another winger? Why? Get the centre midfield sorted ffs.

Perhaps Mata is the answer to our AM issues? I know he's primarily a LW but he looks more than capable of playing through the middle. He's not afraid of running at defenders or playing a ball, he's also very good with the 1-2 passing which tend to split the best of defenses. Taking into consideration Valencia's debt and need to sell I think we can fetch him at a decent price say 25 mil? At the age of 23 he's still got his best years ahead of him whilst being a monster of a player already. He may be tempted to join as we offer trophies, a decent wage and an international teammate in De Gea. He would also increase our influence in Spain which is a positive. More likely than Sneijder, who Inter will refuse to sell and Nasri, where Arsenal are refusing to sell to us and may look to go abroad.
