A Munich Raid!

A Munich Raid!

You know when, sometimes, you stumble across a transfer rumour and you think, yes please, this is one such rumour.

Lurking in the pages of one news agency is the rumour that Sir Alex Ferguson is to orchestrate a surprise swoop of the Bayern Munich star, Bastian Schweinsteiger.

It goes on to infer that Bayern Munich will be tempted with a bid of £30 million for the current German international.

Like I said in my opening gambit - yes please!

As much as would love to Schweinsteiger grace Old Trafford in a United shirt it's simply not going to happen. He just signed a contract extension keeping him at Bayern until 2016 and he's such a pivotal part to their set-up they won't even consider selling him.

Can't help but feel we really missed out with Sahin. He would've really bolstered our midfield and at the measly price of €10 million.
