Going Dutch?

The striker situation at Old Trafford could see some movement in the transfer market.

With the futures of Berbatov and Macheda in doubt, Sir Alex Ferguson is rumoured to be looking to add a striker to his squad to supplement Rooney, Hernandez and Owen.

One name put forward today is that of the Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Rated in the 20 million bracket, I`d have to ask, if the rumour has any solid foundations, would it not be better to stick with Berbatov?

I almost choked on my corn flakes reading this one. No chance.

I loved this one. Fergie clearly wants to sign a striker, despite the great strikers we currently have all of which are better than Huntelaar, who can't manage over 10 goals a season. He flopped in Spain, Italy and Germany in leagues which are all far easier and less competitive than the Premier League. Also at 20 million! lol! Schalke paid 12 for him initially.
