'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Major Development!

With a decent player costing, on average, 25 million, to me it makes perfect sense to invest in a facility that offers them the best medical care there is.

Therefore, with the News of the World running a story that infers United are to invest in building a state-of-the-art medical facility at their Carrington training base, at a cost of 250 million, it seems good business sense.

The facility, when built, will enable United to carry out CT and MRI scans on players who have picked up injuries as well as offering dentistry facilities and the development of state of the art ground-breaking training development programmes.

My only question relates to why we didn`t do something like this sooner!

You'd think with some of the injuries our players have suffered from it would've been decided sooner. All the same i'm chuffed to bits.

So where did this 250m come from, added to the transfer frenzy we've seen this transfer window it does make one wonder if there is some new investment into the club, my moneys on the Sheikhs of city finally realising they bought the wrong Manchester, instead of protests at only winning the fa cup they got a parade that must of been when it hit home with the Sheikh that maybe he shouldn't of left it to 3rd parties to secure ownership of the biggest club in Manchester.
