Time to Decide!

Rumours that Dimitar Berbatov`s United career has seen better days, continue to provide column inches in the Sunday media.

In fact, the inference is that United have a decision to make as to whether they decide to sell the Bulgarian this summer and receive some money back on their initial outlay or wait until next summer and receive nothing when he becomes a free agent.

To this effect, the tabloid press are pretty keen to report that the striker currently has two suitors, in the shape of Juventus and Valencia. Furthermore, it looks as if both of these clubs are willing to part with £14 million to secure his services.

Is it time to sell or should United be doing more to hang onto the player?

Juventus are the more likely of the two. I would like to see a contract extension given to him and I would sooner see Owen leave before him but at 14 mil (which is decent though I would expect 2-3 mil more) for a 30 year old with 1 year left, it could be worse.

Cheerio Berba, 14 million is not a bad return given the circumstances, I wonder who we would try to bring in as a replacement though considering they would be 3rd choice. If only we could shunt Owen out the door too.

BRING BACK FORLAN!!!! We should also get Becks back on a free when his contract expires. If only for the shirt sales.
