O`Shea Move Draws Nearer!

Out of the trio supposedly heading for the Stadium of Light, it`s being implied that John O`Shea looks like being the first to tie up a deal.

The word is that the thirty year old defender is close to a £3 million move after talks with Steve Bruce.

The other two, however, Darren Gibson and Wes Brown, haven`t agreed personal terms with the Black Cats stalling over breaking their current wage structure.

We`ll offer more news as and when we receive it.

It's typical O'Shea that his demand will be reasonable. I hope this is a giant fib or newspaper trash though! Brown i'm all for. Gibson i'm sceptical about. O'Shea i'm well and truly p155ed off about!

Clearly joining a better team and better supported club ;-)

Same here I'm not too happy about O'Shea leaving, the other two can leave although I have a suspicion Gibson could turn out to be a decent player but I don't think he would have the opportunity to turn into one here due to a lack of game time, still it will free up some of our wage budget.

Haven't really seen anything to exciting from Gibson. I think he will benefit from moving and maybe improve his game. Never gonna be world class though.
