City Favourites for Nasri!

City Favourites for Nasri!

City are on the move!

Our cash heavy Manchester neighbours appear to have stolen a lead on us when it comes to possibly procuring Samir Nasri from Arsenal.

Roberto Mancini has decided that if he can`t have Alexis Sanchez then he`ll press his Arab paymasters to provide enough oil cash to lure the French international to Eastlands.

City look set to go in with a starting offer of £15 million for the player and with Arsene Wenger almost vowing not to sell him to United, we could be waving goodbye to any potential deal!

Never mind; having won naff-all at Arsenal it`ll come as no shock to win naff-all at City won`t it!

Being the 'favourite' means nothing. There's favourites for players every year that don't end up getting the player. I'm still expecting him to sign a new contract at Arsenal. I would also be shocked if Arsenal decided to sell to City rather than us.

Surely Arsenal would be favourites to keep him next season considering he is under contract for another season there, if he does get let go by Arsenal I can't imagine Wenger would want him to go to another prem club he'll prob end up at milan, juve, madrid or the like. I wish he would move soon or sign a new contract with Arsenal I'm sick of hearing about his supposed transfer the media are really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this story everyday its the same story printed slightly differently.

City favourites? First I've heard of it RedBoy, City have denied interest. Win naff all? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't City win the same amount of trophies as U*d last year?

bluedub - you won the same amount of trophies as Real Madrid and one more than Chelsea. It sure as hell doesnt mean you're on our or their levels. But as for Nasri, I believe he'll stay at Arsenal

FU - we were 9 points off U*d last year, closed the gap by more than 50% on the year previous. If we keep progressing at the rate we're going we'll be in contention for trophies just as much as any of the teams you've mentiones, get used to it, we're not going away anytime soon.

bluedub - 9 points even after buying all those players and after what most people said was a terrible season for us? I guess 100 mil more and you'd have caught up with us huh? And I don't want you to go away. I want you to be around to dream of becoming the massive club that we are.

FU - that was Mancini's first full season in the PL and he finished level on points with 2nd place, don't delude yourself, City now have the spending power U*d have had for years, so we will be challenging for titles too.

Bluedub, only minor thing you fail to mention is that United spend what they earn themselves and are in debt only because of the leveraged takeover. City on the other hand are not responsible for their budget. Respect cant be earned that way.
