A New Posh and Becks?

A New Posh and Becks?

Having successfully undergone a medical in Manchester, it`s now expected that the Spanish keeper, David de Gea, will put pen to a contract with Manchester United this Friday.

The fee is rumoured to be £18 million with De Gea set to pick up a weekly salary of £75,000.

With the transfer window set to open on July 1st the red-top media are trying to set the ball in motion by inferring that De Gea and his partner, Edurne, could be the next Posh and Becks.

Edurne, a Spanish pop-star is a real head-turner and De Gea has moved quickly to provide a quip or two about the fame that perhaps await the pair, commenting,

"I don`t think it will be a problem - Edurne will keep singing ballads and I will keep stopping balls."

"Everyone else can say or do what they like."

Now that`s the attitude although somebody should warn him just how unscrupulous the tabloid media can be in this country!

She's quite fit, at least when the sky cameras do the now obligatory famous face's in the crowd camera zoom it will to be to look at quite a pleasant sight rather then that alien headed, stick thin, stuck up her own arse, talentless Mrs Beckham or 'arry redknapp. I am happy to see that de Gea seems to be quite level headed and I hope the notorious English media will leave the couple alone.
